Computer Systems / Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• System set-up; troubleshooting, resolution of anomalies discovered in equipment and methods, provision of assistance in maintenance service
• Installation of equipment room racking, servers and UPS. cable works for power and communication
• Installation and maintanance of electrical and Instrument equipment
• Installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security.
• Managing and monitoring all systems and infrastructure.
• Collation of information on hardware systems, costs of development, work program and technical specification
• Participation in the development and testing process, systems testing and commissioning
• Provision of support of design and installation of ‘turnkey’ and / or ‘user-defined’ system
• Sourcing and identification of suppliers for evaluation
• Conduct of preliminary assessment on systems requirement of the clients and matching with components recommended by sub-contractors
• Provision of assistance in systems deployment, system implementation and / or installation
• Performance of corrective, preventive maintenance work in-house or at customer site (on-site)
• Implementation of enhancement/upgrades as instructed
• Preparation of documentation and logistics support where necessary
• Travelling maybe required from time to time
