CONSTRUCTION GENERAL FOREMAN

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of workers, tradespeople, and subcontractors on the construction site.
• Coordinate daily work activities and ensure that tasks are completed on schedule.
• Interpret construction drawings and plans; ensure work is carried out according to specifications.
• Monitor site operations for safety compliance and enforce company and regulatory safety policies.
• Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve any technical or work-related issues.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks and delays in work progress.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and occupational safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site.
• Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor and high-risk environments.
• Relevant certifications in safety (e.g., WSQ, CSOC) are an advantage.
