Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. This includes washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. This includes cleaning cooking utensils and food preparation areas.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Menu Development: Contribute creative ideas for daily specials and assist in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food portions and presentation meet company standards, and adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Training: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
