Dental Hygienist

Position Overview:

• Provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic oral health care.
• Work with dental teams to deliver patient care, primarily for children and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care:
• Perform scaling and polishing of teeth.
• Administer fluoride treatments and fissure sealants.
• Conduct basic restorative treatments (e.g., fillings) as per regulations.
• Assist in diagnosing oral health conditions and developing treatment plans.
• Provide pediatric dental care and treatments.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Advise patients on oral health maintenance and dental visits.
• Record Keeping & Administration:
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Manage patient appointments and follow-up care.
