Technical Centre :

Ø VSL Technical Centre is part of Bouygues Construction and it has been operating in Singapore for 50 years playing a key role in the construction of many local iconic projects.

Ø VSL has five Technical Centers around the world: Singapore (TCSG), Bern (Switzerland), Barcelona (Spain), Hong Kong and Sydney (Australia).

Ø TCSG's involvement occurs in all aspects of Major Civil Works Projects:

o From the tender stage, involving the definition of main options and construction methodology.

To the execution/construction stages, involving the definition and design of major equipment to build bridges and special structures.

Overview:

We seek engineers who are passionate about construction projects and want to grow a career in the specialist field of bridge construction and design. As an Engineer based in our Singapore Technical Center, you will work alongside more experienced engineers learning how to design and construct major civil works around the world.

The focus of your experience will be: bridge construction methodologies, structural analysis and design of steel structures for the construction of bridges.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will:

- Be passionate about civil engineering projects.

- Possess good/strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Be a team player.

Required Experience:

- A master's degree (preferably) or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

- Fundamentals in structural analysis.

- Basic experience in the design of steel structures.

- Proficiency in English, both written and oral, as it will be the primary language of communication.
