Digital Cost Analyst

Seeking individual with keen interest to develop modern digital skillsets and knowledge for quantity survey, data management and analysis of MEP / HVAC / ACMV systems to compete in the current global trend of sustainability and green endeavors.

Scope

• Reporting: Reporting to QS Manager
• Objectives: Participate in tendering process and to successfully bid for projects
• Quantity Survey: Collect data for management and analysis of cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration and procurement. (Individual Scopes follows below)
• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Develop comprehensive and strategic cost estimates for tenders and projects, taking into account project specifications, current market rates, and labor costs. Prepare and present these estimates, transforming data into actionable insights and deliverables that meet tendering requirements and enhance the likelihood of successful bidding.
• Contract Administration: Work with Contract Manager to prepare and review contract documents, tender documents, and bills of quantities in accordance with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) guidelines and Singapore's regulatory framework, ensuring strict compliance across work done.
• Procurement Management: Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and/or consultants for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring optimal cost efficiency and quality control.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Sustainable Infrastructure in Building Services, Quantity Surveying or equivalent /
• Experience in MEP / HVAC / ACMV is added advantage
• Experience in Data Analysis concepts is added advantage
• Knowledge in modern digital solutions like modelling take off software, RPA, advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, utilising AI / ML are added advantage.
• Strong literacy in English and willing to learn in a changing industry.
