ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

Roles & Responsibilities

Mechanical Technician

-Responsible for installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of port equipment (e.g., RTG, STS, Spreaders).

-Inspect and replace mechanical components to ensure equipment reliability.

-Assist in equipment handling, assembly and testing.

Electrical Technician

-Responsible for installation, wiring, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.

-Inspect cables, control systems and sensors to ensure safe operation.

-Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.

Job Requirements

-Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; experience with port machinery or heavy equipment preferred.

-Able to work in outdoor conditions (hot) and work at heights.

-Basic English communication skills; able to understand safety instructions.

-Physically fit and able to comply with safety regulations.

Certification Requirements

Mandatory (at least 1 of the following):

-Work at Height (WAH) Certificate

-Confined Space Certificate

Advantageous (Preferred):

-Forklift Operator License

-WSQ Safety-related Training Certificates WSQ

Others

Working Hours: Subject to project requirements, with overtime as required
