Electrical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct load calculations and electrical system analysis to ensure efficiency and compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Review and approve electrical contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical installations and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure that all electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with local codes and standards.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for project management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Dipoma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven experience with electrical design and installation for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with project management and coordination with contractors and subcontractors.
