Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for project enquiries from the Single Line Diagrams, Layout, Control Diagrams and Specifications.
• Able to create costing estimates from written and verbal specifications obtained from superior.
• Work closely with Engineering Department to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.
• Prepare Schedule of Rate and Technical Data Sheet.
• Check estimates for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain all revisions of estimates.
• File documents accordingly to document control system.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• ITE Graduate in engineering field or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or min. 1 year experience in costing.
• Must be able to read Single-Line drawings (electrical).
• In-house training provided for costing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Independent and self-motivated.
• Able to work under tight schedule and beyond contractual working hours if required.
