Electrical Lift Fitter

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Lift Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical lift systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role requires technical expertise, attention to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission new lift systems according to manufacturer specifications.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical lift components.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in lifts.

• Ensure all lift installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report issues to supervisors.

• Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams on site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Lift Fitter or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and lift technology.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Willingness to work on construction sites and flexible with work hours.

• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to lifts and construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with hydraulic and traction lifts.

• Familiarity with lift control systems and PLC programming.
