ENGIEER

Job Summary

Lead quantity surveying activities for aluminium and glass projects, collaborating with contractors and architects to resolve site issues and drive project cost management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate independently with Main Contractors and Architects to identify and resolve site issues, ensuring smooth project execution
• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions that align with project requirements and client expectations
• Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders (VO), and finalization of accounts to maintain accurate financial control
• Attend site meetings to provide expert quantity surveying input and support project progress
• Coordinate and execute materials ordering for project sites to meet scheduling and quality standards
• Estimate overall project costs accurately to support budgeting and financial planning
• Utilize AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) proficiently to produce detailed documentation and reports
• Apply knowledge of aluminium profiles to ensure precise quantity surveying and adherence to project specifications
• Maintain composure and deliver quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project and company objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• At least 5 years of quantity surveying experience in aluminium windows and doors projects
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with project stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimation and documentation
