ENGINEER- NTI METROLOGY

As a Metrology Development Engineer in the Singapore TD department at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for rapid deployment of innovative 3D NAND process technologies, drive development efforts prior to device ramp, define & execute effective actions to enable solutions required to hit key breakthroughs & achieve the required performance within timelines. This requires close collaboration with our technology partners and vendors to develop and optimize processes in a multi-functional team. The Metrology Engineer will be responsible for leading the metrology efforts within the organization, ensuring the highest standards of measurement accuracy and precision. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in advanced microscopy techniques, materials characterization, and data analysis, with a proven track record of managing state-of-the-art labs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Lead the operation and maintenance of advanced metrology equipment, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and other relevant tools.
• Own development and implementation of metrology procedures and standards to optimize measurement accuracy and repeatability.
• Identify and provide solutions for inline detection in collaboration with process engineer and process integration.
• Conduct precise measurements and analyses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of products and processes.
• Collaborate with design, process, and integration teams to provide insights and recommendations for process monitoring with metrology.
• Prepare detailed metrology reports, including data interpretation, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Establish and manage a state-of-the-art Metrology technique, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach team member, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Support product development by offering insights for process optimization and enhancing product robustness.

Requirement

• Master's degree in Semiconductor Technology & Operations
• Proficiency in advanced electron microscopy techniques, materials characterization, and data analysis.
• Strong expertise in operating and troubleshooting SEM, AFM, and other analytical tools.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams, driving productivity and innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with semiconductor device fabrication and characterization.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and advanced data interpretation.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Python, LabView, MATLAB, and COMSOL
