IT Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical contact person for IT end user support services for the Singapore site.
• Technical administrator for IT infrastructure systems (servers, networks and storage systems) and cyber-security operations
• Manage IT office equipment, including printers, telephones, and software applications.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular security audits and remediation activities.
• Assist in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and backup management.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document IT infrastructure configurations, system updates, and security procedures.
• Support IT projects, including new technology rollouts, security upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Provide training and documentation to end-users on IT security best practices and system usage.

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant fields of studies from a recognized institution.
• Between 5 to 8 years of professional experience supporting IT infrastructure and cyber-security operations in a mid-sized business environment.
• Work experience with ITIL methodologies.
• Good experience supporting Microsoft365 suite of products, Windows Servers, office networking and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience from manufacturing environments.
