Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Assist in renovation, carpentry, and installation works (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, partitions, etc.).

• Operate and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment used in carpentry and fabrication.

• Support project supervisors in on-site measurements, layout, and technical tasks.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and work specifications.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship meets safety and design standards.

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or adjustments to equipment and fixtures.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and proper handling of materials.

• Provide technical support in project setup, execution, and completion.

Requirements

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering fields (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in renovation, carpentry, or technical trade preferred (fresh graduates may apply).

• Able to read basic technical drawings and use measurement tools.

• Knowledge of carpentry machinery, tools, or renovation methods will be an advantage.

• Physically fit and comfortable with on-site work.

• Team player with good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
