Department : EHS & Sustainability Management
Report to : Manager
Functional Relationships with all departments in Murata Electronics Singapore
Position Profile:
Based in : Singapore
The successful candidate will support EHS Management System in MES
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains and evaluate effectiveness of the organization’s EHS Management System (EHSMS) by managing EHS administrative processes, identifying training needs designing and conducting training effectively.
- Support EHS maintenance based on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, RBA and other customer requirements.
- Support internal and external EHS audit and follow up corrective measures with relevant stakeholders.
- Using a range of WSH tools and resources to implement WSH programs and drive compliance.
- May be expected to supervise a WSH team and work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish his work.
- Analytical and values teamwork and collaboration to solve problems.
- Communicate importance of WSH program compliance to team members of other departments.
- Support and conduct workplace risk assessment and environmental aspect impact and related training.
- Conduct incident investigation and reporting.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Degree in WSHO related field.
- At least 2-5 years working experiences as WSHO officer or obtain at least Level C WSH Officer course.
- Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active.
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to build relationships with team members and stakeholders, and strong analytical and research skills to evaluate effectiveness of program.
- Good knowledge of local authorities’ requirements such as NEA, SCDF, SPF, PUB.
- Workplace safety and health management with additional environmental and fire safety knowledge or similar field preferred.
- Ability to perform multi-tasking.
- Able to take stress due to fast paced environment.
- Able to travel overseas when necessary.
