Facade Drafter / Designer (Alum, Glazing & Steel)

Job Description

The Drafter / Designer with experience in designing and fabrication drawing of Alum and Glass facade, doors & window, structure support. Candidates are expected fully understand and prepares concept, details, fabrication design documents throughout the project pre & post-construction.

• Develop aluminium and glass facade, doors & windows concepts according to Architect's / Facade Consultant's contract drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project Architect/Consultant and site personnel to produce and execute the works for assigned projects.
• Plan, Implement and monitor design development, shop-drawings and fabrication drawings production schedules.
• Ensure product design development costs within budget constraints Qualities.
• Have relevant experience in Facade engineering especially in Alum & glazing facade, Alum Doors & Window and Steel support.
• Ability to evaluate façade design and propose potential value engineering and cost savings.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements :

The following skills and experiences are required :

• Understanding of aluminum and glass facade systems is a MUST.
• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or relevant fields
• 2 to 5 years of experience in architectural works such as façade design, cladding, curtain walling & glazing works.
• Proficient in usage of Computer-Aided Software programs (For example, BIM, AutoCad, MS Office & Revit).
• Understanding of Singapore Design practices and Relevant Codes.
• Good design and sketching skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
• Able to work independantly.
