Facility Engineer (ASRS)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution of preventive maintenance activities to optimize operational availability and efficiency. This includes all building facilities and equipment including ASRS, warehouse, electrical, MHE, building envelope, refrigeration, fire systems etc
• Monitor and report compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and checklists across the facility.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose long-term solutions for equipment reliability.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance and recommend improvements to management.
• Manage and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely resolution of faults or breakdowns.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate corrective maintenance processes and recommend optimizations to reduce recurrence of faults.
• Plan and oversee the implementation of regular inspections for all facility equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Conduct periodic formalized assessments of the maintenance program and process safety management framework elements, identifying appropriate corrective actions or improvement programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed changes align with operational goals and regulatory compliance.

Requirement:

• Possess knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) will be an advantage
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Good understanding of the use handling unit management in SAP EWM /PP will be an advantage.
• ASRS Engineer must have a combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as experience in warehouse automation systems and project management.
