Facility Technician

Job Summary:

This incumbent is responsible for the support of plantand equipment in the production, coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities, coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities, provides general and detailed maintenance including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repair/replacement work as required and perform routine facility and equipment maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for all production and new equipment. Including spare parts inventory.

• Carry out routine check on facility equipment & the controlled environment area (CER).

• Scheduling of routine maintenance & provide day to day operations support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of facility related equipment & machinery.

• Record & Track of facility expenses.

• Support in analysis, troubleshoot and repair plant & production equipment.

• Oversee facility & participation of Kaizen project on facility improvement.

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

• Diploma or technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or GCE O level, with 2-5 years of experience in a high-volume production environment; experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge & experience in plant equipment like electrical, AHU, Compressor unit, chiller & plumbing etc is a plus
• Understanding of cleanroom requirement & maintenance
• Coordinate contractor / vendor work in Quasar premises & ensure they abide to inhouse safety regulations
