Factory Manager (Nutraceutical / Health Supplements Manufacturing)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and manage the manufacturing operations of our health supplements production facility. The role is responsible for overall production management, engineering and equipment maintenance, and the execution of capital and engineering projects to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production output, quality, safety, and compliance with GMP and food safety standards

• Plan, organize, and control production activities in alignment with demand forecasts and operational targets

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime

• Manage equipment lifecycle including installation, commissioning, upgrades, and asset documentation

• Lead engineering and capital projects including new production lines, capacity expansion, facility construction, and process optimization

• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and external suppliers to support new product introductions and technical improvements

• Control maintenance and engineering budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost optimization initiatives

• Establish and enforce equipment safety standards and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Build, train, and manage technical and maintenance teams to support long-term operational excellence

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related disciplines

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in food, nutraceutical, or FMCG manufacturing environments

• Proven experience managing production operations and maintenance teams in a manufacturing plant

• Strong hands-on experience with production equipment, automation systems, and preventive maintenance programs

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering or capital projects, including equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and GMP validation

• Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and hygiene requirements in regulated manufacturing environments

• Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Experience in factory setup, production line expansion, or greenfield projects will be a strong advantage
