Finish Goods Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. Supervisory Function

• Lead a team of FG warehouse assistants, approve attendance & leave, perform appraisal, report overtime, resolve grievances and to meet productivity target.
• Ensure the team conforms to SOP and policies.
• Organize manpower requirement to activities.
• Establish and review SOP.
• Conduct training to staff to meet performance expectation.
• Promote high standard of work practices and safety behaviour in the team.
• Prepare monthly report, raise purchase requisitions for non-stock operational materials.

2. Pick Pack Ship

• Receive shipment bookings from shipping staff.
• Check stock availability.
• Arrange empty containers into warehouse.
• Schedule container loading.
• Allocate stock to order, release pick list.
• Co-ordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping staffing on loading of container or collection, trucking in and out of containers.
• Check picked products (reported by warehouse) whose quantity and lot numbers tally with pick list before submitting to shipping staff.
• Ensure full set of documents (pick list, container layout, checklist) from warehouse to shipping staff.
• Train the team to load the cargo with proper securing measures so that the cargoes arrive at destination in good condition.

3. Warehouse Management

• Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion as per 5S requirement.
• Ensure the security and accountability of inventory.
• Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse facilities.
• Review risk assessment of warehouse operations.
• Organize the layout and storage area to promote good material flow.
• Prepare samples for sales timely.
• Arrange disposal of write off.

4. Inventory Control

• Receive purchased products into inventory in ERP system.
• Move stock from one business division to another business division.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports.
• Conduct cycle count and annual stock take in Singapore
• Investigate stock discrepancy.

5. Regional warehouses

• Support stock move across different warehouses.
• Work with regional teams to conduct annual stock take in all countries.
• Perform site audit with QA team.

6. Operations Support

• Backup warehouse personnel.
• Participate in Operations continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum diploma with at least 2 years experiences in operations or logistics.
• Knowledge of warehouse and logistics operational essential.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and be independent.
• Able to work under pressure and stress, and able to multi-task.
• Able to work well in an oeprations environment dealing with operators in daily operational activities.
• Able to grasp quicky and have a good understanidng of operational SOP.
• Preferably to have a forklist license

Working Conditions:

This position is required to work from Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm. This position requires the person to be flexible in term of ability to operate outside normal work hours.
