Halal Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor HAP (Halal Assurance Program) monitoring and corrective actions for any HAP deviations.
• Assist in product recalls and withdrawals until any deviations or unsatisfactory conditions related to Halal requirements are corrected.
• Inspect vehicles during loading and unloading to ensure there are no suspicious raw materials or non-Halal personal items.
• Ensure raw materials’ packaging and labeling are compliant with Halal certification standards. Labels should match the company name, address, and product name as listed in Halal certification or the invoice if certification is unavailable.
• Endorse the Commercial Invoice in the absence of the Muslim Representative.
• Ensure proper withdrawal of requested packaging materials and labels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring compliance with Halal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Halal products and practices.
• Forklift driving experience is preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift and move products as needed.
