Job Description & Requirements

• Assist Project Manager to identify and assessany foreseeable risk
• Perform the role of Secretary in WSHCommittee.
• Be aware of all the latest applicablestatutory requirements & ownersrequirements from current affairs or anyother medium.
• Measure and monitor the WSHperformance of the project and discussWSH performance in the WSH committeemeetings and recommend areas forimprovement
• Encourage site staff participation in hazardinspection, reporting and rectification.
• Establish and implement an emergencyresponse programme.
• Monitor OSH performance and progressregularly and implementation of Safety &Health Violation penalty system.
• Inspect Machinery, Equipment or Plantvalidity.
• Review Safe Work Procedure.
• Inquire incident/accident, for documents.
• Recommend best practice.
• Eliminate hazard – Minimize hazard.
• Implementation of Permit to Work System.
• Auditing production, keeping on thelookout for any unsafe behavior or breaksin regulations
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazardsof all aspects of operations
• Inspecting production equipment andprocesses to make sure they are safe
• Creating safety plans that includesuggested improvements to existinginfrastructure and business processes
• Sharing information, suggestions, andobservations with project leadership tocreate consistency in safety
• standards throughout the productionteam and the entire company
• Meeting company health and safety goals
• Investigating causes of accidents andotherunsafe conditions on the job site
• Reviewing and reporting on the staff'scompliance with health and safety rules
• To liaise with associates on all health,safety and environment issues
• Assist in maintain & review safetymanagement system to latest standard
• Any others HSE related works

Requirements

• Possess at least a Specialist Diploma inWSH and/or Bachelor’s Degree inWorkplace safety and health (WSH)-relatedand certificate in ECO
• MOM registered WSH Officer and NEAregistered ECO + PUB registered ECMO.
• Possess at least 3 years’ relatedexperience preferably in Construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Well organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and goodteam player.
• Willing to work 6 days/week. (Mon-Friday, 8am - 5pm, Sat 8am-12pm)
