Who You’ll Work With

You will work closely with a team of experienced designers and alongside the founder herself, Kiren Pak.

Kiren is trained at Temasek Polytechnic in Product & Industrial Design, and further qualified through the BCA Academy in Interior & Landscape Design and Building / Facility Management. Her multidisciplinary background bridges creativity with buildability, regulatory understanding, and operational rigour.

Interior Kaki is intentionally structured to grow with depth, not just scale. Senior professionals are brought in not only to deliver excellence, but to mentor, collaborate, and elevate the studio as a whole.

Job Scope (General)

Depending on your role and level of experience, your responsibilities may include:

Design & Project Execution

  • Assist in or lead interior design development, space planning, and detailing

  • Prepare drawings, material selections, and specifications aligned with design intent

  • Coordinate with in-house carpentry, suppliers, and contractors to ensure buildability

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions

  • Manage expectations through clear communication and professional conduct

  • Support project coordination from concept through completion

Technical & On-Site Exposure

  • Gain hands-on exposure to site conditions, carpentry works, and construction processes

  • Learn technical coordination, detailing accuracy, and on-site problem-solving

  • Ensure design intent is carried through during execution

Teamwork & Studio Contribution

  • Work closely with designers, project teams, and management

  • Contribute ideas, improvements, and solutions within the studio

  • Uphold Interior Kaki’s standards in quality, discipline, and professionalism

What You’ll Learn & Master

At Interior Kaki, you will be trained to operate with increasing independence, building both design sensitivity and technical competence over time.

You will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Interior design development and detailing

  • Technical coordination and buildability awareness
