Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice to support STATS ChipPAC IHQ office development and expansion as well as local plant business and operation.
2. Draft, review and finalize routine commercial contracts and agreements e.g. engagement letters, NDA, procurement agreements, etc.
3. Conduct legal research and stay updated on local regulatory changes affecting the company’s business and operation.
4. Support strategic investment projects as needed.
5. Support corporate governance matters.

Qualifications:

1. A qualified lawyer with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house.
2. Diligent, self-motivated, proactive and attentive to details.
3. Good communication and collaboration skills, team work personality.
4. Prior experience in the electronics manufacturing/semiconductor industry will be desirable.
5. Proficiency in Chinese language would be a plus. (Work with counterparts in China)
