About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter with experience in both construction and woodwork to join our team in Singapore. You will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures across various residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, physical stamina, and flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
• Construct and install structures such as doors, window frames, staircases, flooring, drywall, partitions, and furniture
• Operate hand tools and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
• Perform repair and maintenance work as required
• Erect scaffolding and temporary structures for construction use
• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Prior experience as a carpenter (in construction or furniture woodwork)
• Proficient with carpentry tools and equipment, both manual and power-operated
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and measurements
• Physically fit and able to work in hot or humid environments
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work during non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays when necessary
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
