Looking for hardworking supervisor, painter and cement casting worker

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Construction Painter Supervisor to lead and manage on-site painting and related works for construction projects in Singapore. This role is hands-on and site-based, requiring strong leadership, quality control, and strict compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations. The supervisor must be comfortable working in very dusty construction environments and coordinating cement casting and surface preparation works as part of the project scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate painting teams on active construction sites

• Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks efficiently

• Oversee surface preparation, painting, coating, and finishing works

• Supervise and coordinate cement casting, patching, and repair works related to painting preparation

• Ensure work quality meets project drawings, specifications, and standards

• Conduct inspections before, during, and after painting works

• Manage work in dusty and harsh site conditions, ensuring proper housekeeping

• Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) (Construction) Regulations

• Ensure proper use of PPE such as masks, respirators, goggles, and protective clothing

• Monitor material usage and report shortages or defects

• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades

• Train and guide workers on safe work practices and workmanship standards

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in construction painting with supervisory or team-leading experience

• Strong knowledge of painting systems, coatings, surface preparation, and finishing

• Experience handling cement casting, skim coating, patch repair, and related works

• Ability to work on very dusty construction sites and supervise workers in such conditions

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures in Singapore

• Physically fit and able to work in a construction environment

Preferred / Advantageous:

• WSQ (Workforce Skills Qualifications) certifications related to painting, construction, or site supervision

• Relevant WSH training (e.g. Construction Safety Orientation Course, Supervisory Safety courses)

• Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects

• Ability to read drawings and work specifications

• Ensure strict compliance with Singapore’s WSH (Construction) Regulations

• Maintain safe work practices in dusty environments, including dust control and PPE enforcement

• Support skills upgrading under WSQ / SkillsFuture frameworks where applicable
