Machine Setup Technician

Working day: Monday - Friday
Working Hour: 8:30am - 6:15pm
Salary range: $2,300 to $3,200
Location: Woodlands (Nearest Mrt: Admiralty/Sembawang)

The Machine Setup Technician is responsible for setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting machines to ensure they meet specified requirements, customer expectations, and production schedules.

Job Requirement:

Min Nitec in engineering fields
Min 2-3 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation
Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and knowledge of manufacturing software tools.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
Upload and download software and parameters to/from PC, machine and server
Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, drawings or setup sheets
Perform test runs to verify equipment functionality and product quality
Calibrate and adjust machine settings for proper operation and quality output
Ensure all machine components are properly aligned and functioning
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during setup
Collaborate with Engineering during machine setup
Support QC as needed during QC buy-off
Maintain accurate setup records and documentation
Assist in improvements for setup processes
