Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineers to join our team in supporting the design and development of high-precision mechanical modules for advanced packaging equipment in the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in translating engineering and product requirements into mechanical design concepts.
• Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support basic design analysis and simulation (e.g., force, thermal, vibration) to assess design feasibility.
• Participate in selecting materials and components based on performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Assist in the design of tooling, jigs, and fixtures for use in assembly and testing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineers to support design implementation and manufacturability.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Comply with internal quality processes and all applicable safety and environmental regulations in Singapore.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Internship, academic project, or practical exposure to mechanical design is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro-E, or AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and production processes.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and apply feedback constructively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based engineering environment.
