Part-Time Restaurant Dishwasher

1. Main Responsibilities

✅ Cleaning dishes and utensils

• Hand-wash and clean plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, and pans.
• Remove food scraps and grease before washing.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants.

✅ Drying and storing

• Dry cleaned dishes and utensils using cloths or drying racks.
• Organize and store items in designated areas.

✅ Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene

• Keep the dishwashing area, sinks, and worktables clean.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., Singapore NEA standards).
• Properly dispose of food waste and manage trash bins.

✅ Handling cleaning supplies and equipment

• Safely use dishwashing liquid, disinfectants, and degreasers.
• Operate simple kitchen equipment such as dish brushes or dryers.

✅ Assisting with kitchen tasks (if required)

• Help with food preparation (e.g., peeling, basic cutting).
• Assist in cleaning kitchen floors and worktables.

2. Job Requirements

• No formal education required, but relevant experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy items.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety rules.
