Pastry Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in production of bakery & pastry products in accordance with specifications and order requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with HACCP / FSSC requirements.
• Operate and regular maintenance of all baking equipments, including ovens and mixers etc.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients;

Requirements:

• Certificate in Baking Skills or its equivalent
• Preferably 2 years of baking experience as a baker assistant or in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, equipments and ingredients
• 6 days work week with the ability to work on weekends/public holidays
