PIPE FITTER

Job Description:

Responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that transport liquids, gases, or other materials within our facility. This role requires working with blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate installation and efficient operation of pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts and installation procedures.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using specialized tools and equipment.
• Assemble, install, and secure pipes, tubes, and fittings according to specifications.
• Inspect and test installed piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform welding, soldering, or brazing of pipes and fittings as required.
• Repair or replace worn-out pipes, valves, or fittings to maintain efficiency in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure all piping installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, and other technicians to optimize the piping system's performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and use PPE.
