Job Summary

Lead the programming design, testing, and implementation of factory automation control software while collaborating with customers and project teams to deliver timely, high-quality solutions and provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to gather, clarify, and document software requirements and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals
• Design control and software architecture to meet functional and operational needs of automation systems
• Develop, program, and test PLC, HMI, and PC-based control software to deliver reliable automation solutions
• Implement software solutions on-site and provide technical support to customers for smooth operation
• Prepare comprehensive machine operation manuals and technical documentation to facilitate user understanding and maintenance
• Coordinate with cross-functional project teams to ensure on-time delivery and successful project execution
• Engage hands-on with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, Degree, or higher qualification in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in factory automation systems focusing on software and control development
• Proficient in programming PLC, HMI, and PC-based automation software to develop and maintain control systems
• Skilled in using AutoCAD for creating and interpreting electrical drawings
• Effective communication skills to collaborate within teams and with customers
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and contribute to hands-on technical tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrated project management skills to support planning and delivery of automation projects
• Knowledge of electro-pneumatic circuit control, electrical wiring, and robot applications to enhance system integration

* Need to attend training in China branch for 1 month
