Principal Acupuncturist

SPECIFIC (80%)

1. Lead the clinical operations at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital

2. Oversee clinical training and ensure competency standards across the team

3. Work in an integrated healthcare environment, collaborating with Western medicine specialists

4. Provide acupuncture service to patients using safe, effective, updated techniques and procedures in accordance to JCI standard and MOH guidelines

5. Support acupuncture service in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Admiralty Medical Centre as required

6. Assess, establish treatment plan and manage patients independently

7. Clear and accurate documentation on clinical visits

8. Ensure compliance to infection control and other hospital safety regulations

9. Responsible for inventory of stocks and materials in clinic

10. Maintenance of equipment

11. Perform administrative duties

12. Conduct research projects

13. Manage the clinic to meet departmental and organizational goals

14. Take ownership of personal continuous professional development

15. Embrace continuous improvements as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis.

 GENERAL (20%)

1. Educate the general public and healthcare colleagues regarding acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine

2. Occasional contribution to departmental projects outside of clinic hours as determined by reporting officer

3. Perform any duties assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements  

• Recognised Degree in TCM

• Registered and licensed by Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB)
