Production Engineering Technician

Job Summary

You will support daily manufacturing operations by assisting in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of production machinery. You will help maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, monitor production quality, assist engineers with process improvements, and ensure accurate documentation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up production machinery to prepare for daily manufacturing operations
• Operate production equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Support preventive maintenance and repair activities to maintain equipment reliability
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and compliance requirements
• Assist engineers in implementing process improvement and efficiency projects
• Maintain accurate documentation of production and maintenance activities for operational tracking
• Follow workplace safety and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Support general production and technical tasks as needed to meet production goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and production processes
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Problem-solving skills applied to identify and resolve production or equipment issues
• Communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and engineers

Other Information

• Monthly Salary: SGD $3,800 – $4,800 (depending on experience and qualifications)
