Production & Material Planner

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Production & Material Planner to manage production schedules, material planning, and inventory control, primarily for SKD (Semi Knocked Down) production. The ideal candidate should be experienced in using ERP/MRP systems and able to coordinate closely with Chinese-speaking suppliers — Mandarin proficiency is required. Experience with Odoo ERP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production plans based on forecasts and SKD assembly requirements
• Coordinate material planning and ensure timely procurement for production needs
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
• Operate ERP/MRP systems to manage work orders, inventory flow, and material tracking
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, especially in China, to ensure timely deliveries
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to keep production schedules on track
• Generate regular reports on material usage, stock status, and production output
• Contribute to continuous process improvement in planning and operations
• Handles the shipment and delivery

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in production and material planning, preferably in assembly or electronics
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle; Odoo experience is a plus)
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (required for supplier communication)
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of SKD production processes is advantageous
