Production Meat Packer

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
• Packing incoming stock away,taking inventory and reporting shortages.
• Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Picking orders as requested by Supervisor.
• Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
• Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
• Loading and unloading goods (up to 25KG)
• Good knowledge of food hygiene law
• Assisting in maintaining security of warehouse.
• Other duties as and when assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge in food products and is familiar with the food service environment
• Familiar with food/meat handling and handling process
• Good knowledge of food hygiene law
• Hands-on execution, able to meet deadline and work under pressure
• Independent and Team player
• Display a positive attitude towards learning
• Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities
