Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to establish and maintain effective relationships.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven track record in managing complex construction projects.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management tools.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong technical skills in engineering works
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software for quotation preparation
Ability to create clear and comprehensive work method statements

Roles & Responsibility of QS
Assist and prepare tender submission in accordance to requirements
Review and study tender documents, specifications and drawings
Attend tender site show round if required
● Prepare BQ and carry out quantity take-off
● Request for quotations and carry out cost comparison and pricing
● Liaise and negotiation with sub-contractors / suppliers
● Prepare sub-contract agreements
● Evaluate and certify sub-contractor’s progress payment and variations claims
● Prepare progress claim and variation orders
● Ensure proper documentation of records
● Assist and perform tasks assigned by QS HOD
Builder's & M&E experience preferred
Review and study tender documents, specifications and drawings
Attend tender site show round if required
Prepare BQ and carry out quantity take-off
