Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for taking over projects from Sales Department as assigned

• Overseeing the construction activities and progress

• Planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programmers

• Prepare project organization chart, project schedule, specifications review, critical data summary and quality assurance plan for approval.

• Maintain good customer rapport through frequent and effective communication with customers including attending kick-off, front end design and process meetings, customer factory acceptance test or even site review meetings or short site commissioning.

• Manage the projects execution in timely and effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability and good resource utilization.

• Follow up with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

• Participate in the QAP including sub-vendor factory acceptance test and new sub-vendor qualification and approval with purchaser.

• Prepare accurate and timely customer and internal ad-hoc or monthly reports and attend meetings to report project status

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in M&E / ACMV / A & A Projects

• Candidates with more than 5 years of working experience will be considered as Project Manager with more roles and responsibilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Good communication skills and must be self-motivated team player

• Able to multi-task and work independently

• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and work overtime if required

• Able to start work immediately an added advantage
