Purchasing Executive (Food industry)

Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Procurement Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Procurement Executive
• Location: North (Nearest MRT: Woodlands North/ Sembawang Station)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with key stakeholders on sourcing proposal changes.
• Manage vendor performance in terms of delivery and product quality.
• Ensure procurement processes meet safety and quality regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels.
• Assist in developing new products and Ready-to-Eat meals.
• Source and evaluate raw materials for product development.
• Support the R&D team with new product ideas, applications, and recipes.
• Work with Quality Management to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct product quality checks and sensory testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or its related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, product development, or quality assurance within the food industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and inventory management.
