Position: QA & Halal Compliance Officer

Level: Officer (2–3 Years Experience)

Department: Quality Assurance & Compliance

Location: Singapore (Food & Beverage Factory)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA & Halal Compliance Officer with 2–3 years of experience in the food & beverage manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO, and Halal standards, supporting both regulatory requirements and the company’s commitment to high-quality, safe, and Halal-certified products.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Systems

Implement and maintain FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO, and BRC quality systems across production and operations.

Lead or support internal audits, supplier audits, and third-party certification audits.

Monitor and verify SOPs, CCPs (Critical Control Points), and GMP practices in daily operations.

Maintain proper records, documentation, and compliance reports.

Conduct root cause analysis and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Halal Compliance

Manage Halal certification applications, renewals, and MUIS audits.

Verify and approve Halal raw materials, ingredients, and supplier compliance.

Ensure Halal Assurance System (HAS) requirements are implemented throughout procurement, production, and storage.

Training & Continuous Improvement

Train production and operations teams on food safety, hygiene, and Halal standards.

Provide guidance and advisory support to ensure consistent compliance.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, quality, and compliance culture.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.

2–3 years of working experience in food manufacturing QA/QC, food safety, or Halal compliance.

Familiarity with FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO, BRC systems, and Halal Assurance Systems (HAS).

Experience in handling Halal certification processes and audits is preferred.

Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
