QC ENGINEER

Job Description:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for production of precast components.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyze quality data and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to address quality issues.
• Maintain documentation and prepare quality reports for management.
• Plan and coordinate quality inspections in line with the casting schedule and project delivery program
• Conduct pre-casting inspections, post-casting quality assessments, and pre-delivery checks to ensure products meet internal and client specifications
• Liaise with the Design Department to resolve technical queries related to shop drawings and ensure alignment with production requirements
• Monitor and report on production waste and defective components, and assist in implementing measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Prepare and maintain detailed daily casting reports, quality inspection records, HDB inspection reports, and forecasting reports for upcoming production

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction or precast manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with quality standards and testing methods for concrete products.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
