Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Stage:

-Provide quantity take-off and cost estimation for tender and on-going projects.

-Source, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

-Prepare and analyse the cost comparison, develop and monitor project budgets.

Post-Contract Stage:

-Manage project budgets and monitor ongoing costs.

-Prepare and submit monthly progress claim, settlement of final account and variation order (VO).

-Provide assessment of sub-contractor’s progress claim, issuance of payment response and final payment.

-Assess and manage variations, change orders, and claims to client.

-Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients on commercial issues.

-Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

-Attend site meetings and provide commercial input to project decisions.

-Support procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services with the project team.

Requirements

-Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.

-Minimum [5] years of relevant experience in construction, interior design or related fields.

-Able to relate from Chinese to English. (to effectively handle queries and concerns from Chinese speaking associate in related to project matters.)
