QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are an established small to medium sized company located in North of Singapore. We specialises in timber door installation. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our friendly team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with both External (consultants, contractors, suppliers and customers) and Internal stakeholders (project manager, site supervisors)
• Prepare Monthly progress claim and monitor payment, including Retention money
• Issue Tax invoice for payment response and update summary record
• Check through Contracts and Shopdrawings to ensure accuracy of quanitities, specifications and calculations. Submit VO if needed
• Arrange for site inspection for addition or alteration, including defect rectification follow ups with Home owner or Main Contractor
• Arrange for component check and site labelling for fire door. For fire door testing or assessment, coordinate with Ironmongery suppliers and Testing lab

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree holder in Civil Engineering / QS or related
2. Relevant QS experience in Singapore within Construction or ID industry
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details
4. Able to stay organized with minimum supervision
5. Self-motivated with high degree of responsibility
