Resident Land Surveyor

Job Descriptions

• Survey Supervision and Execution
  Oversee and verify land, topographic, and engineering survey works.
  Set out and verify construction alignment, levels, and positions.
  Ensure the correct transfer of design data from drawings to site.
• Compliance and Regulatory Duties
  Ensure survey works comply with:
  Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and BCA standards.
  Liaise with authorities like SLA (Singapore Land Authority), BCA, LTA, and PUB.
• Quality Assurance & Control
  Review and approve survey methods, reports, and results.
  Identify discrepancies between design and as-built conditions.
  Maintain accurate and complete records of all survey activities.
• Coordination and Communication
  Work closely with QP (Qualified Person), RE/RTO, contractors, and other consultants.
  Attend site meetings and provide expert advice on survey-related issues.
• Documentation and Reporting
  Prepare survey reports, certifications, and documentation for submission.
  Maintain survey data management systems

Requirements

• Registration: Must be registered with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) Singapore.
• Certification: Possess a valid practicing certificate.
• Experience: Typically, 5–10 years of experience in land/engineering surveying.
• Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related fields.
