We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Retail Manager to lead and grow our presence across supermarkets and convenience store chains. You will be responsible for account management, retail execution, sales tracking, and leading the merchandiser team to ensure strong in-store performance and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with major supermarket and convenience store buyers
- Ensure timely submission of listing applications, trade promotions, and new product proposals
- Negotiate terms, shelf space, and promotional placements
- Track and report sell-through performance across retail accounts
- Analyse store-level data and propose corrective actions to improve sales
- Monitor out-of-stock issues and coordinate restocking plans
- Lead, train, and manage supermarket merchandisers
- Conduct weekly check-ins and store audits with merchandisers
- Ensure consistent execution of planograms, sampling activities, and promotional displays
- Plan and execute retail marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
- Organise in-store sampling or demo activations
- Evaluate campaign ROI and report outcomes
- Address stock discrepancies, delivery issues, and product complaints from retail partners
- Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure supply continuity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail/FMCG sales or key account management
- Strong understanding of supermarket operations and retail marketing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and lead a small field team
- Comfortable with data tracking and performance reporting

- Prior experience working with major supermarket groups in Singapore
- Experience managing a team of more than 5 people.
