Job Description

The Group continues to expand and welcomes candidates who meet the below requirements to join the organization, providing support in the Group HR Department:

Responsibilities

Talent Management / Operational Matters

• Drive the recruitment activities of the traineeship programmes, work with various departments to plan and coordinate the training schedules, monitor and track the progress of the trainees, and provide regular status reporting to management.
• Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee confirmations, annual appraisals, and terminations.
• Liaise with MOM, CPF, IRAS and tax consultants on HR-related matters.
• Support and lead HR initiatives, such as mental wellness programmes and employee engagement activities.

HR Policy, Reporting and Compliance Activities

• Business partner to advise and support management in HR strategies and policy matters.
• Review and improve existing Corporate HR policies, benefits and procedures.
• Draft new policies and frameworks in areas of recruitment, talent retention, performance management, compensation & benefits, and training & development.
• Ensure employment policies and practices comply with local statutory and regulatory requirements by keeping up to date with the latest changes.
• Implement, monitor and ensure compliance of subsidiaries (local and overseas) with HR policies and procedures.
• Responsible for collating Group data and reports for Head Office.
• Other new initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore labour laws and the Employment Act.
• People-oriented, resourceful and possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good written, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Proactive and receptive to dynamic changes.
• Well organized and meticulous with an eye for detail.
