SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Key Responsibility:

• Lead project to ensure design meet project specifications.
• Design machine based on project specifications.
• Generate layout drawings, design approval drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, detailed dimensional drawings, pneumatic circuit and BOM lists.
• Mechanical design modularization and standardization.
• Conduct factory acceptance test.
• Conduct internal and end-user operation and maintenance training.
• Liaise with suppliers on components selection and quotation and liaise with customers on mechanical design.
• Troubleshoot mechanical design issues.
• Perform system maintenance and support for system in production.
• Create internal written knowledge transfer material.
• Create operation and maintenance manual for machines designed.
• Provide technical support and solutions to sales inquiry.
• Generate proposal, costing and tender documents for sales inquiry.
• Train, supervise and assist Mechanical Designer.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of factory automation design experience.
• Proficient in 3D modelling software.
• Experienced in CNC automation is an advantage
• Proven ability to complete tasks given independently
• Ensure given tasks complete within given timeline.
