Senior Operational Buyer

• Supplier Management:Managing supplier relationships, resolving issues, and monitoring supplier performance - On Time Delivery & Quality Metric.
• Negotiation:Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Order Placement:Placing orders with approved suppliers based on requisitions and expediting critical materials.
• Vendor Analysis:Developing reports for vendor performance, purchase volumes, and on-time delivery.
• Compliance:Ensuring that procurements adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demand Planning:Developing and implementing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.Collaborate with Planning & Customer Support team to understand demand fluctuations and adjust planning accordingly.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock to meet production needs.
• Coordination:Coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Data Management:Maintaining material, supplier, and planning system data in MRP/ERP systems.
• Reportings and KPIs: Developing reports on inventory levels, stockouts, and other planning-related metrics (OTD, Push Outs & Pull Ins)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•Experienced in ERP system (Navision, SAP etc.).
•Strong communication and negotiation skills.
•Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
•Experience in purchasing technical commodity like machining items/sheet metal parts will be an added advantage.
*Strong Background in Manufacturing & Planning background.

Education

•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience
•Between 5-10 Year(s) or above relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
