Senior Project Engineer - Industrial Automation Industry - Woodlands | Up to $6.4k (0580)

• Working day: Mon – Fri, 8:30am - 6:15pm
• Salary range: $3,400 to $6,400
  Location: Woodlands (Nearest Mrt: Admiralty/Sembawang)

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and managing project activities to ensure quality standards are met while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This role involves overseeing resource allocation, managing both internal and external stakeholders, identifying potential risks, and leading discussions for risk mitigation and problem resolution.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the project to optimize efficiency, profitability, and performance while tracking project health and managing risks.
• Ensure the project remains on budget and on schedule, providing regular updates on project progress, highlighting potential issues that may affect budgets or timelines.
• Conduct project status meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication between all parties.
• Act as a liaison between the project team and customers to ensure key project information is communicated accurately and promptly.
• Ensure projects meet customer specifications and requirements while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
• Lead, motivate, and guide assigned resources from various departments, organizing regular reviews to resolve any issues that arise during the execution phase.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the management team, highlighting key challenges or risks.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the engineering field with hands-on project management involvement.
• Familiarity with automation technologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with Design Tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Project Management Tools
