Senior QA Tester

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in manual testing, test case creation, API validation, and familiarity with QA tools. Basic automation experience is a plus. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for mobile and web applications to ensure quality and functionality.
• Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct API testing and validation to verify backend integrations.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, and maintain documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing before releases.
• Contribute to performance and security testing activities.
• Support basic automation testing where applicable (nice to have).

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manual testing for both mobile and web applications.
• Strong ability to write and execute test cases.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Basic automation testing skills (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
